Ok, folks, here's the deal:

I have a job, which is lucky for me because not everyone does! Unfortunately, my job gives me no hours to speak of.  I just recently called for an "on-call" and they said they didn't need me AND they said I wasn't even on the schedule, which leads me to believe they just took me off? I don't know, I have to clear that up today, but I have no time to waste, I am in dire need of income for one big reason: I'm getting married in the fall and I only have 100 bucks in my bank account currently. 100 bucks! That couldn't even pay rent if I lived in a paper box. So all this being said, I'm opening up a "store" for commissions. (I really didn't know what else to call it.)

Here are the specifications:

$10 Commissions

B/W or color, your choice
To be printed on 5X7 photo paper and shipped out to YOU
Backgrounds minimal, anything that is extremely detailed will cost a few bucks extra (no more than 5 dollars)
So that's all, I will probably draw anything you would like, so long as it's not extremely bloody or pornographic. Payments will be via PayPal to taoconnor@m.marywood.edu.

Please let me know if you are interested, and know that the prices aren't completely final, if you would like to work something out, please e-mail me and we'll work it out.

You can also get prints of my pre-existing artwork instead of commissioned artwork, if you so choose. You'll find examples of those in my gallery.

Hey folks,

I won't take up too much of your time just a little update of things going on.

As a few of you know, next week I start student teaching which is in short, teaching full-time without pay (wee!). Due to a change in schedules, there may or may not be a lack in updates on here in terms of arts. I'm not sure how I will adjust to the full days and most free time I have will be time for rest, and of course working on comics. I'm working on a short comic which is untitled at the moment, for something among a group of some people, something, something, something. Further details I will disclose later on.

Also, as quite a few people know... I'm ENGAGED! proposed last month and of course I said yessss! We don't have an exact date set yet, we will figure it out this weekend so look forward to that announcement. We are planning on late October/early November of this year!!! I will be busy planning this also so you can see that art simply for dA will probably be lacking over the next few months. I'll post sneak peeks of my comics and some other things so I won't be completely gone. I'd like to designate parts of my day to certain things when I start teaching, for instance everyday I'd like an hour for comics and an hour for wedding planning after my general planning for teaching is complete for the day. So hopefully I won't be overwhelmed and it will be a lot of fun, I'm a little nervous but looking forward to it nonetheless.

So from now until April or May I will be taking requests for commissions at only FIVE dollars. It will likely be in black and white due to time constraint (though it's negotiable) so if you would like one, note me, and I'll even go as far as to actually SEND you the original, or a print, I may have to cover shipping so maybe a grand total of 6 dollars instead of 5. Note me if you're interested!

It's been awhile since I've updated here. It's nearly Thanksgiving and the year is almost over! I can hardly believe it.

Lots of stuff has been going on, between my school life and my art life. First off I'm working on a graphic novel and that has taken up a lot of my art time so comics seen on smack jeeves are all on hiatus until otherwise stated. My dream journal comic is still underway and it shall be during the time I'm working on my graphic novel and of course, student teaching. I start student teaching in January, for those that don't know what it is, it's basically going to school every day and teaching, 40 hours a week, but no pay of course. It's like a teaching internship, so to speak.

This is also where you guys come in, I won't be working during that time, and yet I still have to save up to move out once I graduate? Talk about impossible. It doesn't help either that the holidays are right around the corner and things are really tight. :[ So from now until April or May I will be taking requests for commissions at only FIVE dollars. I know this probably doesn't make much sense, but I'm just really stuck in a rut.  If you enjoy my artwork, and feel like being generous, please commission me. :]  Like I said previously any (reasonable) price will be accepted.  Reasonable prices will start from $2.00 and onward.  This will be especially appreciated as I won't be able to do any working next semester due to student teaching. I'm actually PAYING the school to work for 40 hours a week for 3 months. So anything would be appreciated, thank you, thank you, thank you!

More updates:

Positively Fourth Street is underway and I would like to get the entire first chapter done before I start posting.  I'd like a backlog. :]  I'll have a new site for it  but I will still be using smackjeeves/comic fury as a mirror site and I would devote most of my time and effort on the new site (which I am in the process of making).  Anyway, that just about wraps it up.  I should really update this thing more often.

I'm also working on a comic pitch. Wish me luck? Not much for titles yet, but it's about mysterious books, teenage drama, high school, and changing your fate. Keep an eye open for more updates on this! It's more likely that I will wind up publishing through Lulu or something like that.
